TASTY, NUTRITIVE, AND ENERGIZING
The term of COLDBREW refers to the cold preparation or filtering of coffee. A preparation that, in addition to being refreshing, manages to keep everything good from the coffee. Cold water extracts compounds from the flavors of grains and caffeine, but without the bitterness of coffee oil and the spiciness of fatty acids.
It is a coffee with intense flavor, but less bitter. It is normally served with ice cubes and, as we have explained, it is a different preparation process than what we are used to in traditional coffee shops. In addition, the production process lasts much longer than other filtrates: it can last from 12 to 24 hours. At Boicot Café, we filter COLDBREW daily, and our secret recipe is based on a 18-hour filtering.
